About the Show


This year we are extremely proud to announce that we will are bringing back DockDogs® as our main attraction. In addition to being the 2011 main attraction at both the Bismarck and Chicago Sports Show, it is the largest presenter of dock jumping and dock diving dog performance sports in the world. Family Fun Night Friday, February 24th!
Join the fun at the Bismarck Tribune Sport Show on Friday, February 24 at the Bismarck Civic Center and receive a discounted admission -- just $5 for a family of four (2 adults, 2 children). Ask for the "Family Fun" discount and enjoy all of the events, seminars, booths and more for the entire day. Plus, be sure to participate in our special Mascot Scavenger Hunt, where you will search for specific Mascots on Friday from 3-8pm.

Water Safety Course

The Game and Fish Department offers the Boat North Dakota course for those who are new to boating, wish to take a refresher or possibly receive a reduced rate from their insurance companies. (The course is required for youth ages 12-15 who want to operate a boat or personal watercraft with at least a 10 horsepower motor). Class is limited to 25 students. Deadline to Pre-register is Feb. 22nd. Registrants receive free admission into the Sport Show.

OHV Safety Certification Course
Instructed by Matt Gardner
Outdoor Recreation Trainer, ND Parks and Recreation Department

Call ND Parks & Recreation at 328-5348 to pre-register.
Anyone 12 to 16 years old to legally operate an OHV (dirt bike, ATV's and side x sides) on public land is required to possess either a valid drivers license or an OHV Safety Certification.
Class sponsored by Open Road Honda, Mandan.
Deadline to Pre-register is February 22nd. Registrants receive free admission into the Sport Show.
